Standards & Unit Inspections
In 2024 the Lancaster County Fire Chief Association handed over the Traffic Unit Inspection’s to the Lancaster County Fire Police Association.
As a department gets a new Traffic Unit, The Traffic Inspection Committee (3 appointed members of the Association) go to that Department and inspect the new Traffic Unit prior to it being placed in service with County 9-1-1, to ensure compliance with the LCFPA adopted standard. The LCFPA standard is compliant with TIMS, Penn DOT Pub. 213, MUTCD, and PEMA Tier II.
